Ark: EV Charging

The Ark’s been saving the day again! 

A friend came to visit for the weekend then realised the battery on his Ampera hybrid car was really low. 

We plugged it into the Ark and voila! The battery was charged by the sun!

The Ark used a combination of the powerful 1.8kWp solar array and generous 7kWh battery bank to charge his car. This combination of 'real-time' and stored solar energy, generated and stored on site, enabled him to charge up his battery with with sustainable, free electricity within a few hours.
